Founders’ Story

TYP Group was the brainchild of Lee Gartside and Phred Steer, both seasoned professionals from the recruitment, consulting, and technology industries. 

A relationship that has spanned over decades, from Phred helping Lee find his next big career move through to longer term partnerships helping scale up numerous organisations, they have always had transparency, trust and honesty at the core of their relationship. 

However, after decades of seeing talented people lost in broken systems and fake job markets, they built TYP to restore trust in professional connection — a platform where verified individuals and organisations meet transparently, with support when and where it matters most.
